We built the verification company we wanted to buy from.

HVR Screening, Inc. verifies employment information for employers, and gives the people in those records a real way to see and correct them. Those two jobs are the same job done properly.

Why HVR exists

Two problems, one cause.

Employers wait on employment verifications they cannot see into. Candidates rarely learn what was reported about them, and when something is wrong the correction process is buried behind a support queue.

Both problems come from the same place: verification systems built to produce an answer rather than to document how the answer was reached. When a source will not confirm a date, the honest output is a record of what was attempted — not a guess, and not silence.

So HVR records source, method, contact and date on every field; shows employers who owes the next action; and puts file access and disputes in the main navigation rather than the footer. Our team has run verification operations, payroll systems and consumer-rights programs, and built HVR around what those roles actually need.
