01You can see your file

You may request a copy of the information in your file, including the sources of that information.

02You can get a copy of a report

If a report was provided about you, you may request a copy and learn which organization received it.

03You can dispute information

If you believe something is inaccurate or incomplete, tell us. We reinvestigate and record the result.

04Inaccurate information gets corrected

Where a reinvestigation shows information is inaccurate or cannot be verified, it is corrected or removed and a new report version is issued.

05You are told who received a report

You may request a list of organizations that received a report about you.

06You have additional rights in some states

Several states provide additional rights, including different access, fee and notice rules.

07Identity theft

If you believe information relates to identity theft, tell us and we handle it on a separate track.

08Adverse action

If an organization takes adverse action based in whole or part on a report, it must follow a specific notice process.
